New wool carpets and deterring moths

Any advice before we put new carpet down everywhere upstairs (tomorrow!)

I've never had a problem but I don't want to.

I mean are we meant to put something down on the floorboards?

No idea but moths have totally ruined my carpets. I hate wool and cannot get rid of the darned things.

A couple of sprays of this carpet moth killer will keep em away for sure. Not sure if you are suppose to put anything underneath your carpet it's fitted but you can definitely use this spray on your carpet for protection.

I will have to try that spray. I thought the rentokil one I bought would do the job but I cant get rid of them.
