Hi, had a day off yesterday, how terrible I met friend for lunch.

Feeling a bit low as I look around and it doesn't look much better anywhere than what it did on Monday cept tons of clean washing instead of dirty I suppose.

I have an hour ish before I do school run, gonna see what I can do. Sorry for misery, just got that overwhelmed wtf feeling ConfusedSad

afresh - well, so far I've had a lazy morning.

I'm gonna clean bathroom as part of gettign ready to take DS out later this pm.

What will you commit too?

Yesterday felt like time dragged I was bored to tears, wondeirng if I'm missing studying. I did get kitchen tidier and floor mopped - but today it seems sticky Confused

I feel like Im just removing the thick of it and not actually getting anything really clean and tidy - if that makes sense. I have yet to properly bottom a room out. Facing up to months of neglect I guess. I hate how houseworl makes me feel - either obsessive or lazy, where is my middle ground?

I had a good couple of hours this morning

I managed to throw some old bags and bits of tat away from my bedroom, I put away all the bits I've bought for the new baby, hoovered the bedroom. Then downstairs I've done the pots left from last night and this morning, a wash load and a dry load, folded two dry loads, put out recycling, wiped the Hob and cleaned and cleared two worktops

The bedroom looks pretty bloody tidy now, much more than its been so far this year anyway. I'd like to get it finished. To do this I need to -

Sort and put away all remaining clothes
Clear last two surfaces of tat
Maybe another go with the hoover

Oh god.

Having spent half an hour last night looking in the murky depths of hell understairs cupboard for something - anything - to put on DD's feet after she somehow left two sets of shoes, with special orthotic insoles, in France on a school trip, I think that might be where I need to start.

On the plus side, we had enough bits and bobs in there to come up with two nearly matching baggy old shoes, laces swiped from another pair and temporary insoles fettled from a pair probably bought for her father.

Dp is pissing me off something rotten since I did the bedroom the other day, just leaving pots and rubbish up there, today I've removed a towel, some washing, an empty pop bottle and some junk mail. That's just from today.

afresh Ive had my nag button switched off for over a year as Ive done very little so could barely get on to them - well guess what the bitch is back! once I get on top of my shit - I'll be gettingt them to get on top of theirs (sorry for sweary words but its after 7pm!)

Hellloooo alfie as you can see we a small slow moving thread, we very easy to keep up with! good luck with bedroom, this is my worst room.

Ok so since my last post I've done a ton of studd, there is nothing like a text from my other half saying he is on the train to get my arse moving (we are currently in SAHP/EARNER roles so its all fair!) well:
Return clothes Asda done
Do food shopping done - this has took up most of the day!
Clean toilets and sinks
Laundry 1 done on airer outside
Laundry 2 - done on line outside
Laundry 3 - in machine
Put away clean clothes - NOPE
Do 2 sections of personal statement on job application form
Set 11 plus work done

So ive collected kids and fed them a snack so I now need to:

Cook dinner done
Clean toilet and sinks downstairs only
Tidy living room done - got them kids working
Dishwasher emptied/re-loaded. done

Additionally - Ive hoovered all the downstairs and mopped go me

So now I'm off out to find a swimming cap - apparently DS needs one tomorrow - as you do. But who cares GAME OF THRONES is on after the friggin football that is.

Have got off to a better start this AM. I've appreciated the clean smelling toilet and porch. I know it sounds silly but it's like I'd forgotton what it was like to be clean and tidy. Likewise with the kitchen.

Clothes are another issue. Still in piles so had to look around for clean underwear and sock for the kids, adds to stessy mornings.

So todays aim is to do job application - deadline is tomorrow.

I've re-washed last laundry already this is to hang out.
I've sprayed the bathroom and lightly scrubbed the bath - will rinse off the rest.

I feel like ive turned a corner with the downstairs.

Feel like everyday I get in from work to a bomb site , I've not ventured to the bedroom yet but I bet loads of stuff is in there that shouldn't be again

thanks afresh - I think Ive just lost my ability to 'domesticate' on any level.

I messed up, I forgot I have to pick up my DD. So bang went my big plans. At the minute I feel like a total feck up on the house front and anything that requires me to be organised and there on time.

I can get everyone where they are meant to be (for now) it's just the house getting me down

I've put a load in the washer and the dryer anyway, and just filled the sink to wash up

Plodding on
