How do you deal with/dispose of recycling in the kitchen

We have a small kitchen and so not room for another pedestal bin. We pile wrappers & comtainers to be recycled on the windowsill & then take out at end of day (usually!!).
I can't stand it as there always seems to be a pile of rubbish on view for all to see.

What do other people do?

Two plastic storage boxes in the cupboard under the sink.

We have a double bin which sorts general rubbish and paper/card. We then have a storage box (admittedly we have built a space for it above the bin) for plastics. Empty the lot every few days.

Poltergoose - Can I ask where you got that bin?? I want one. I'm prepared to take out a mortgage....

We have a compartment bin under the sink. Has 4 parts ( regular, paper and plastic, glass, compost)

I couldn't handle the mess in our small kitchen so I converted a broom closet off the kitchen to a recycling closet. Sometimes it is stacked floor to rail in there, I kid you not, but I don't have to look at it so hey ho Grin
