Mouldy BBQ help!

The old owners of our house left their BBQ, it's a really decent gas one on a wooden stand, little shelf in the hood and everything BUT the inside is coated in green-white mould (probably why they left it!) Does anyone have any recommendations for anti-mould products?

Turn it on and let it burn max heat for 30 minutes or so. Most of the mound etc should burn off and make it easier to clean with a bbq cleaning product. Failing that, you should be able to find replacement grills / racks etc online ( this is what we did when we were in your situation).

Scrub everything with soda crystals and boiling water then put the burners on and leave for a while then let them cool for a bit and scrub all the crusty bits off with a BBQ brush.

The mould is from the splatters of fat not cleaned off at the end of the summer, if you do the soda crystals thing it'll sort it and just remember to do it before it gets covered up for the winter.
