how do you organise your time limited vouchers/money off stuff....

These really make me miserable - things like Tesco vouchers and 10% of your next order stuff.

I tend to stuff them in my purse or throw them away. I really hate pulling them out of my purse and finding they've expired....

I'd rather they didn't exist at all but wanted to ask people who are good at keeping/using them where you keep them and how you find time to look through them or organise it so you don't have to.

12 small envelopes stapled together like a book.
Put them in the month they are valid. If you don't use them this month but they don't expire until next, just transfer them across to the next envelope.

Jin- that's a brilliant idea!

MissTriggs · 10/04/2016 20:36

so you basically turn them into their own calendar?

And do you dip into the envelope before doing things like planning a day out/starting off for the supermarket, etc?

Where do you keep your 12 envelopes? Car? or back door? or kitchen?

sorry - I'm a real beginner here!

I online shop so I make sure they are next to the computer.
there's another set in my back pack for coffee/day out type vouchers as I will have that with me if we are going out for the day (then it doesn't matter if we take a different car, go with a friend etc and i will have it if we stop for a coffee etc)

The loyalty card that full up your wallet? Pop a hole in the corners and put a key ring through it. I keep this in my jacket pocket or backpack depending on what we are doing and the chance of passing a store where we will need a loyalty card. Also use the key fobs actually in your keys.

My discount cards such as english heritage, kids pass (awesome! PM me if you want a discount code) and carers cards are permanently in my phone case. So i can literally grab phone keys backpack and go :)

Jin. I think I love you.

The Sainsburys ones for 2p off shopping or wherever I wrap around my nectar card so I can't use it without claiming the points.

Some excellent ideas on here. Similar to Like if I have say Boots extra points vouchers, I put them in the slot in my purse that holds just that card fed up of missing them

If you have a smartphone you can download an app to store all your loyalty cards. I never take my cards with me now as I can easily bring them up on the app.

TomTomKitten · 16/04/2016 19:43

Which app, Steamy?

SteamyMcDreamy · 17/04/2016 20:56

Sorry for the late reply. I use an app called Stocard. iPhones have an app called wallet that is also suitable.

Think I'll have to try Jin's idea!

I keep mine in a little A5 plastic wallet in the kitchen cupboard with a few other papery bits. I also have gift cards from Christmas/birthdays in there. Unfortunately, I tend to forget to check the wallet before toddling off to the supermarket and when I do remember, they've all blooming expired Angry
