Hand-held, rechargeable vacuum cleaners - any recommendations? Fallen out of love with our Dyson

We've had a stormy relationship with our little Dyson for a few years - the charging station is a bit flimsy, the batter failed and has been replaced to the tune of £80, and after using it again for a while, it has now died.

I am not very sad Grin

Is there anything better/more reliable out there?
We are just wanting to use it for occasional use, crumbs in hard to reach corners, bits of (short) dog hair behind the door - you know, the kind of cleaning that does not warrant getting the big hoover out.

Thanks

Hello!

We've noticed this thread is quite old and some of the product recommendations are a little out of date. After weeks of trawling the Talk boards, talking to parents and researching bestsellers, here are our trusted reviews to help you find the best cordless vacuum cleaner on the market.

Hope this helps! Flowers

I've got the B&D it's brilliant!

My mother was forced by me to buy it for me for Christmas and had this face on ----> Hmm

However it was the best present eva and I use it every day. I was toying with keeping it on the coffee table at one point as it was out every two minutes.

I am clean obsessed and have toddlers though...
