Just that really, after kondoing the lounge furniture I'm basically starting from scratch and looking for ideas.

What furniture do you have?

Our living / dining room is 'knocked through'. The living room end is about 12ft x 14ft with a french door at that end. We've got:

A 2 seater leather sofa
Leather armchair (they don't match but I like that!)
A moroccan footstool
A nest of tables in a sort of Indian hardwood with a waxed finish
A TV cabinet from same range as above
A wooden trunk that I picked up from a flea market 20+ years ago
Small round table with wrought iron legs
A tripod floor lamp
A table lamp

ignores plethora of toys and games at dining end of room

Three piece suite
Oak blanket box used as toy chest
Bureau bookcase
Chiffonier sideboard
Grandfather clock
Toddler table and chairs
Oak side table

We have big furniture from our previous home that I wouldn't get rid of when we moved into a house with smaller rooms. (From Victorian massive proportions to modern semi)

Sofa and armchair. Side table. TV unit with TV, consoles etc. Fold-down desk / filing cupboards. Bookcase for all school-related stuff and printer. Two small lamps. One floor lamp. Various pics. Big rug.

We are lucky and have two lounges.
In the main one we have a large corner suite, reclining arm chair, two coffee tables, a book shelf thing and side board with the TV on.

In the one we mainly use we (more of a snug) have a smaller corner suite, sideboard, occasional table and fish tank.
