Tell me where to look please!

Looking for huge fluffy bath sheets Grin

They need to be in neutral colours (think oatmeal, beige, cream) please.

Any thoughts? Going to look at Dunelm, John Lewis and TK Maxx, but where else? Probably would like something a bit "nicer" luxurious so probably ridiculously expensive than Asda/Tesco.

I got these recently - they're lovely and fluffy, and so far are washing very well.

DD1 is about to discard the Ikea towels I bought her to go to Uni in 2004 .not saying they are especially fluffy any more but they have worn well
Second BHS ...Lots of our towels are from there and they last well-have discarded some 12 year old ones recently but only because bathroom redecorated really. Was saving 'in case' but am being minimalist.Have found BHS colour range a bit limited in the past -wanted purple and teal towels to go in two redecorated bedrooms and ended up with Sainsburys. They are fine for occasional 'guest' use but dont think they would stand up to repeated washing in the same way J Lewis are good if bought in sales

I got some lovely ones from Matalan, the bath sheets were about £14 I think, but REALLY big, good quality, thick and fluffy, very impressed indeed.

And I have a bit of a thing for bath towels. I've found that sticking with white is the way to go though, much better to match and get properly clean. I leave the colour to the floor mats and other accessories.

My mum has Primark towels and they are lovely and thick. We have Bhs hand towels from the Ultimate range and they are lovely and fluffy (although wash label says to tumble dry them for best effects and having air dried them in the summerI have to agree they are fluffier tumble dried). Will be buying these when replace 'OK but not in the same league' Next towels. Daughter has a Dunelm bath towel for swimming and it doesn't seem to absorb water well. It's very strange. It is fluffy and it says Egyptian cotton on the label but is hard work to dry her off and get any water absorbed fast. I personally would not replace our towels with Dunelm's but maybe chlorine does something to the towel?!

I am a firm fan of Christy towels and I do think it's with spending the extra. Having said that I picked up some bath sheets in asda last week for £6 each and they are surprisingly good! Needed a few washes and tumbles to get them super absorbent but such a bargain.

Do pass on your old towels to local cat or dog rescues. They are so grateful. My new ones are M&S, the dearer ones - can't remember name, and they are excellent.

I'm really disappointed with my JL ones I bought 6 months ago. I think they were called Prima cotton.
They've been washed together but the bath mat and hand towels have gone a completely different colour.
