Was really pleased when I got some beautiful secondhand carpet for DDs room, it is ideal and not available in shops, but can't find anyone to fit it in NW London area, since all carpet fitters basically want to sell you the carpet and do the fitting as an extra. I did find someone who only fits carpets but charges about 4 times the going rate, i.e. about as much as a lawyer. I have a feeling I'm not going to get anywhere with this but if anyone has any advice or recommendations I would be grateful. Thanks! :)
