Burnt pan help needed

I have well and truly welded some bolognase sauce onto the base of my prize large Le Creuset casserole dish. Have soaked it for two days and also tried that Kim & Aggie coca-cola trick but it's only managed to shift half of it.

Can anyone help me restore it to it's former glory?

I think hotwater and washing powder (for clothes) is supposed to help.

simmer on stove with water and bicarb in?

Simmer on stove with hot water and washing powder, don't let it boil over though!

Malt vinegar is very effective on burbt pans. You can just leave it o/night, or, if you vcan bear the smell, simmer it for 20mins or so and leave to cool before scrunbbing. May take a couple of goes to clean colpmetely.

I did it recently - a stainless steel pan though. Soaked it in biological powder for a couple of days, then washed it up with a sponge scourer - took a bit of elbow grease but came up perfectly.
