Anyone have an actifry?

We've been thinking about getting an Actifry with Christmas money & vouchers for our folks.

Are they any good?
Do you use yours a lot?
Do you only cook chips - or can you do other stuff in them.

TIA

Not heard anything good I'm afraid.. If you want lower fat chips etc , just toss spuds, sweet potatoes or yams in a smidgen of oil and bake.

Why spend a fortune on a dust trap that only serves to mangle your food.?

What are they for? I would also just spray wedges of potato or sweet potato and in oven for chip like stuff

Or buy oven chips

We do normally do chips etc in the oven - not keen on 'commercial' oven chips but wondered if Actifry were any quicker or gave better results?
