what do you clean your worktops with?

I didn't used to care about my worktops but I have a shiny new kitchen so a quick wipe with a wet sponge with a squirt of fairy on it doesn't seem fitting any more Grin.
I like things that smell lovely. What does everyone use?

gene don't worry I'm not too far behind you.

Linen fresh in washing machine, springtime in the kitchen and lavender in bathroom Blush

Method here too, we've got the Clementine one at the monent. Very delicate fragrance, not like Zoflora which are way too pungent for me, I wish they did an unscented variety as it is a useful product.

OurBlanche · 21/11/2015 16:00

Spray bottle, bicarbonate of soda, water and an essential oil with antibac and antiseptic properties, like grapefruit, rosemary, teatree or my favourite bergamot.

It's all food safe and cleans even the greasiest of spots. It also acts as a deodorant and air freshener.

CarlaJones · 21/11/2015 18:29

Method sprays. I've got lavender, pink grapefruit, sunset beach, clementine, honeycrisp apple. Blush

Dontbesilly · 22/11/2015 10:03

Gene please can I ask you, when you describe the different fragrances for different rooms, how do you use the zoflora? As an air freshener? On surfaces? I am intrigued as I use it diluted on the floors and on the loos in a spray bottle and door handles but not sure where else it can be used.

I quite like your fragrances idea can you advise me please? Grin

Waitrose have the Method range on special offer. Bought three. Would be rude not to!

I use Zoflora neat, just dab a bit on a cloth and clean. Bought the last Winter Morning fragrance in Sainsburys on Friday. Sad, I know, but find cleaning really relaxing........

MunchMunch · 22/11/2015 14:02

Just googled Method sprays and even B&Q sell it st £3 a bottle. Might give it a go.

alseb · 22/11/2015 14:46

Down to two pounds at Waitrose. Clementine one seems to be good.

another vote for Method - currently using grapefruit.

their mint window cleaner smells great too.

they need to work on the scent of their bathroom spray though.

Big Green Smile have Method on offer too - 33% off.

Their laundry liquid is what turned me onto Method - can't imagine ever changing to anything else. May they make it forever.

I always stock up when it is on offer and it lasts for ages.

I use method too, only recently discovered them and they are awesome at cleaning, way better than I expected!

Am Envy at UK range of Method sprays. You can only get lavender, pink grapefruit and cucumber in Australia.

Agree about bathroom/shower spray. Gak!!

This is the noise the dog makes when he's got something stuck in his throat).

bigbadbarry · 24/11/2015 16:18

I love the minty bathroom spray and the daily shower spray! If they did those flavours for the kitchen I'd have them.

CarlaJones · 24/11/2015 23:25

I got an email this morning from Method about their new Pomegranate scent. Will have to get that now. The bottle looks nice.

I usey own mix of washing up liquid with zoflora and topped up with water in a spray bottle. If your worktops are shiny then once you've washed them with sponge/soap then get to halfords/asda car section and buy a bottle of the water repellant glass cleaner. I use it on anything shiny- splashback tiles, shower screen taps, wash basin. Its brilliant.
