Air freshners - most economical way to have your home smell like a spa...

any recommendations - candles will not be appropriate ... are plug ins the only other alternative? Which ones are good and not too expensive?

scented candles don't need to be lit to exude their, er, fragrance. The odd times I have been given one I've had to put it outside for a week unlit first!

pop down your local charity shop and get someone's unwanted present. Unwrap on the day and the fumes will spread.

I have those oil things with sticks in that we're a present and they last ages. But no idea if they are expensive or not.

White company fragrance oil. Smells great and costs £6 a bottle, so miles cheaper than their candles. I put some on a tissue then run it along these tops of radiators and it scents the house beautifully for days.

I'm sure glade etc are a bit cheaper but they all smell vile imo.

The women that do how clean is your house get a spray bottle with water and essential oil mix and spray on radiators and also wipe on light bulbs so when it gets warm it lets off a lovely scent.
