Does one exist?
The only thing I've seen is this which looks nowhere near as substantial.

I think I need something in between the two...

Ow much is the Lakeland one? There's a £5 off voucher around at the moment, which is a start......

timelytess · 07/11/2015 20:07

Get the real thing. I love mine.

cheapandcheerful · 07/11/2015 20:08

I saw it in my mums good food magazine. That usually means it'll be in a few of the Sunday papers and other magazines too.
Maybe post on the vouchers/codes topic or have a sneaky flick in the newsagent?

DramaAlpaca · 07/11/2015 20:16

I second the Aldi one. The only problem of course is waiting for them to come into stock & you never know when that will be.

cheapandcheerful · 07/11/2015 20:16

Ahhh I'm just going to order it before dh changes his mind!

I was in Aldi yesterday and they had a load of them, £30!

Davros · 08/11/2015 23:33

I'm happy with my Robert Dyas one but I did want the long one with wings iyswim. Lakeland do one that shape but much more expensive

Talkmeoutofthis222 · 08/11/2015 23:34

There is nothing better than the Lakeland one. Fact.

They're awesome. Pay the money. You won't regret it!

Davros · 08/11/2015 23:35

Blush should have looked at the link first. Mine is like that, I need that shape for where it's positioned. I had a £5 off Robert Dyas, glad I got it and not the bulky square Lakeland one but it depends where you want to put it

My Aldi also had them in on Friday.

persepolis123 · 08/11/2015 23:40

I also have the one you linked to and I'm happy with it. It fits a surprising amount of clothes on there and you can fold it away when not in use so it doesn't take up much space.

Boozena · 09/11/2015 09:59

Silly question but doesn't it just dry the clothes faster where it's heated? So if you hang a t shirt on it there's a dry strip for ages where it touches?

Grittzio · 09/11/2015 10:09

Top tip is to throw a sheet over the heated airer, wet clothes on at night will be dry in the morning, if you don't then yes it drys with stripes, but I have the Lakeland one and once you get used to it it's fab, shirt's or anything which can go on a hanger go round the outside or sometimes I only have half the airer open so you can hang shirts off the rail, then you can place trousers or sheets against the vertical heated bars which you haven't opened if that makes sense? Wouldn't be without it.

I'm not that convinced; I can put a wash load on my normal airer (in an unheated bedroom) and it still dries overnight.

scrivette · 09/11/2015 22:19

I have the Aldi one as its smaller than the Lakeland one and am pleased with it.

Davros · 10/11/2015 23:13

I see it as somewhere to hang clothes to dry that happens to be heated. If I need something dried specially I put very little on it and lay it out then it does dry better
