A few weeks ago I went in our big cuboard where we keep our books, hoover, xmas dec stuff like that in. I opened a show box full of my personal docs and saw a little tiny the size of a pin pick white bug in the box. Thought nothing of it until today I went in the cuboard opened a sealed plastic box and it's crawling with tiny white bugs. Wtf wtf wtf. What are they?

I don't know. Might be bookworms? moths in a box usually fill in with web, but there must be different varieties.

there will be advice on the net

One thing I did when I didn't have time to clear out an old cupboard in a relative's house was to put moth-killing hangers in. You normally put two in a wardrobe, they contain Tranfluthrin which emits a vapour that kills moths, grubs and eggs. It will be less horrible for you to clear it out once they are dead. You can also use a spray that will work quicker.

They can only be used in a closed container such as a box, cupboard or wardrobe. AFAIK this is because they are used in bedrooms so they are sized to emit such a tiny amount of vapour so it will be safe for the people. The chemical breaks down in sunlight or rain and disperses in fresh air. The cartridges last three or six months so you can leave them in cupboards or wardrobes long-term. They do not smell of mothballs.

Have a look at the label, the ones that work all contain Transfluthrin.

there are other moth treatments that contain cedar, lavender etc and are just scent with no insecticide, so would be no use.
