Are brabantia bins worth the money?

They seem to do all that's needed (including looking easy to clean after bin nag accidents, holding the lid open so it doesn't get mucky, etc) but I am a bit taken aback by the price! Convince me someone (or alternatively tell me they are sh*t!)

Brabantia bags are cheapest at Dunelm & The Range IME. They are a very good fit.

We have had our touch lid one for about 7 years and it still looks like new - no rust, really easy to clean and to empty.

I will buy another one when this one eventually gives up.

Wow thanks everyone. Wonder if the newer ones are not such good quality as the old ones? Worrying that the old ones have lasted well but newer ones - not so much? Cheap Chinese steel or something maybe??

The one I fancied is a kind of rounded triangle shape and was something like £130!! So I must admit I am tempted to get a cheaper one.

But on the other hand, the idea that something can be repaired and kept going indefinitely does appeal to my greener side! OH will like that.

Will look at the helpful links.
