washing up liquid may well still shift it. Do not despair.

SecondhandRose · 03/12/2006 09:22

Get a nice iron on patch, maybe some cherries.

Tortington · 03/12/2006 09:22

well i have met oliveoil and my first reaction is to say that i think its a liberty asking this question. are you saying shes frigid?

WonderCod · 03/12/2006 10:42

yes
think tis a yellow one

DimpledThighs · 03/12/2006 11:01

I got bleach on my fav green cord dress but then got some iron on ladybirds and looks fab again.

If stain is in not too stupid place (crotch!) then you could follow secondhandrose's advice - it really looks better than you imagine - if that's your style though!

WonderCod · 03/12/2006 13:52

IRON ON LADYBIRDS????
on an adults clothing?

DimpledThighs · 03/12/2006 14:01

yes cod - they looked kind of retro seventies style, but I think I probably don't dress like you given your surprise.

as I said - it really depends on your style.

tinkersbelles · 03/12/2006 14:23

In our house at the moment, it would easily be disguised with puree of some sort !!!! At least olive oil isn't sticky or smelly...

divercarol · 04/12/2006 12:15

Olive oil, cooking oil, butter and other fats will be removed by dabbing Swarfega onto both sides of the fabric. Wash it on a normal wash (I don't use biological washing materials so don't know if that makes a difference) and the mark will have gone. My Mum gave me that tip. It makes sense too because Swarfega is a dedicated grease removing substance, most used in our house to remove mechanical grease from hands.

It may leave a bit of its fragrance after one wash, but airing or a second wash gets rid of it.

It's a great favourite in our house to remove splashes of cooking oil from shirts, but especially those very absorbent fabrics used in tee shirts and sweatshirts.

Good luck

yorkshireWenceslass · 04/12/2006 12:18

Oh, I thought you meant oliveoil the MNer, I was a bit puzzled thinking 'does she not like jeans or something'..................

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 04/12/2006 21:51
