Cleaning up Mouse droppings

Any tips on how best to do it? I have cleaned the ones on the kitchen floor with anti bac wipes but what would be best for the carpet edges where I can see them?

I googled but it was scaring me with mentions of wearing face masks, getting in professionals and other dire warnings!

DH thinks I am making a fuss and should just vacuum them.

I have a dog and a tiny baby so need to be careful with what I use.

(Installed the sonic things today so fingers crossed the mice will be evicted!)

That was one of the dire warnings not to do - but will take inspiration from your username!

Mouse poo is very dry and hard so can't see why hoovering would be a problem, but apparently mice dribble wee ( Smile ) so you need to wipe round where they've been with disinfectant.

Mice get everywhere - I can vouch for this as I had probs with fruit being eaten by them in the garden and caught loads - so no point panicking about baby or dog.

done vacuum them. i would lift up with rubber gloves on and bin in a separate bag. use a sponge to sponge floor with soapy water and maybe then spray with anti bac but do a spot test to see your carpet doesnt get damaged.

horrible.
