Which non bio works?

Normally I use bio liquid detergent as seems to work best, but with a newborn I'll need to use non-bio.

I bought some Fairy non bio which was appalling, may as well have washed with water! I had a sample of Persil non bio which seemed much better. Is Persil tge way to go? Or any other gems out there?

Non-bio definitely exists in Poland, rabbit. And I doubt it's only the UK and there.

I have been using Aldi non-bio (liquid) for years now - love the way it makes my clothes just smell clean and fresh and not highly perfumed.

I use fairy non-bio plus fairy fabric conditioner. It may well be the perfumes that irritate DH and DD's skin but they have less problems with fairy than anything else. I also can't STAND heavy fragrance (on anything) so the (lack of) scent is almost as important as skin irritation.

I would LOVE a system wide water softener though - I'd never need hair conditioner then.

We use Fairy non-bio tablets, mainly because of them being fragrance free, rather than non-bio. I can't bear fragranced detergents. No FC.

I don't use fabric conditioner either.

RiverTam, I wish!! I know that Unilever sell a lot of detergents abroad under different names. They used to do one called Omo Sensitive that was a biological powder & liquid, but it had absolutely no scent to it at all. It just smelt like soap. I've never seen it sold here, which is a real shame - there would definitely be demand for it.

DrinkFeckArseGirls, apologies I've never been to Poland and I don't recall anything specific about Polish detergents. I do know that non bio isn't sold in France, Spain, Germany, The Netherlands, the U.S. or Australia.

I second suggestion that half the Robles is perfumes. My dd flares up (eczema, asthma plus other hypersensitivities which cause her to vomit ) when 'faced' with any strong smell. Just as well she is bed bound these days as hospitals are really dreadful for her with strong perfumed cleaning products. We use Ecover and tesco stuff very very sparingly.

Bloody autocorrect! Half the problem

We use Waitrose's own sensitivr powder. cheap reasonably priced and none of us reacts to
It in any way.

Well I used Persil non bio today and it did well on stains so hopefully this is the answer Smile
