sweat smell on blouses after washing

They are mostly cotton - a few poly/cotton mixes, and generally get washed at 40, the occasional 60.
This seems to be enough to get rid of any visible stain, and when I bring them in from the line they don't smell particularly. But I get a whiff of bo smell when I iron them although it seems to dissipate when they cool down and are hung up
What can I do about this - am a bit paranoid because I think when I'm wearing them my heat 'reactivates' the smell quicker than a brand new blouse - so I think they're not washing out properly.
I haven't done 90 degree washes because a few are coloured or stripy and worried about ruining them.
Any tips - thanks?

I spray the area under the arms with antibacterial surface cleaner before putting them in the wash. I also like the dettol washing product but it is expensive.

Sterilising tablets are bleach though, so don't use them for coloured material.

Pour on a little alcohol based mouthwash to smelly arm area. Leave for few minutes, wash as normal. Has worked for all of my long sleeved tops.

I had this problem with bedding where a occasionally sheets were coming out of the cupboard smelling stale. Using Detol laundry cleanser has stopped this. I only use it when washing intimates, tea towels and bedding etc but would also use it on clothes that had been sweated in (clearly not physically active enough).

Dettol Laundry Cleanser.

I had this problem. Now I use a prewash stain remover spray and problem solved. Own brand sprays work fine - Asda or Sainsbury's for me.

White vinegar worked here. Either spray on or add to the softener drawer
