How many do you have/ use and for what purposes?

I think what we have is an E cloth. I have a green flannel one for wet wiping down granite and blue thinner one for soaking up the wet and polishing up

USAUKMum · 05/11/2006 19:53

I have one for dusting, a pink one for glass and one of those e-cloth mop things which I use on our stone & wood floors. I love them :-)

Oh and have one for stainless steel too.

Ellaroo · 05/11/2006 19:56

4 - dusting, polishing, mirrors, stainless steel, windows, computer screens - I use them for everything. Ashamed to say that I do tend to mix them up and so don't have a specific one for each purpose...but have a few so that they can be cleaned often (make sure you don't use fabric softener when you wash them ).

AitchTwoOh · 05/11/2006 19:57

you can get e-cloth mops??

where??

Ellaroo · 05/11/2006 19:58

Lakeland Limited

AitchTwoOh · 05/11/2006 21:09

oh bugger, i was hoping you'd say woolies. i take it that it costs a hundred and fifty quid?

JoPG · 05/11/2006 21:27

Got mine in John Lewis, can't remember the price.

StayAtHomeMummy · 06/11/2006 09:31

Do they work? Thinking about getting the window cleaning set from Lakeland but at £12 am wondering whether it's worth it.

Ellaroo · 06/11/2006 09:49

Yes, I think they are brilliant and can't think of what I did before I had them. They are also really good for the environment as you don't need to use any chemicals with them, just water (or for windows a bit of vinegar).

suzywong · 06/11/2006 09:50

Us this the same as Enjo?
It's the noveau Tupperware Party over here.

USAUKMum · 06/11/2006 13:35

You can get the e-cloth mops at my local "everything" store (Coopers here in Bishops Stortford)-- but admit to getting mine at John Lewis as I hadn't seen them in town before. It is great for my floors as I have limestone which can't have any cleaners (except special ones) so great for it. My DD goes around squirting water and I follow behind with the mop. it has one for "dusting" the floor and one for "mopping"

And works great. I do a "full mop" with the stone stuff every couple months, but otherwise they look great.

jampots · 06/11/2006 13:36

JOhn Lewis sell them - mop thing is £25 - flipping excellent though.

I have about 20 ecloths for various things

NothingButAttitudeOnMN · 06/11/2006 13:38

We have about 8 e-cloths and will look into the mop thing.

MumEve · 06/11/2006 16:16

I can't believe there's a posting about e-cloths! I love mine with a passion, am totally hooked. I have a few so always a clean one to use when the others are in the wash. Nothing better than e-cloths for wiping shiny surfaces like stainless steel or granite. I bought mine from Waitrose, they're about £9 each, but worth every penny as they are guaranteed for 365 machine washes.

ludaloo · 06/11/2006 16:34

I have one...brilliant for cleaning mirrors and the glass in picture frames...it makes the aluminium strip on the fridge very shiny too!

ludaloo · 06/11/2006 16:35

p.s...got mine from Lidls..£5 but worth it

Bubbletrouble · 06/11/2006 16:52

I adore my e-cloths (how sad am I). I've tried them from John Lewis to the Pound Store but the best are from Lakeland - the Window Cleaning set which last time I went was reduced from £12 to £8.

lorina · 06/11/2006 16:57

I've got three ecloths and the little water spray bottle which is the magic ingredient I think. Fab for windows and dusting. Also excellent for stainless steel cooker hood

brimfull · 06/11/2006 17:04

love my ecloths, might have a look at the one for floors, does it get dirt and bits up ?

Cappuccino · 06/11/2006 17:08

don't get them from Lakeland fgs

get them from Woolies or a home bargain type shop

I get 3 for about a quid; just as good

use them for everything, wet and dry, have loads, just sling them in the washer

daisy1999 · 07/11/2006 11:12

m&s have them for £1 - bargain!!
