AGA choice - help!

I've looked long and hard at the various options and decided in the end that a traditional 4 oven AGA is the way to go, but I'm worried perhaps I'm missing something important.
The total and dual control models are tempting, as is the 3 oven plus separate module, but there seem to be too many things that could go wrong with the total control, and I can see the dual control ending up causing arguments over switching on and off…..
I like the configuration and the simplicity of the traditional 4 oven model. We live in a old house with a cold, draughty kitchen and this seems like a really good option. It might get a bit too warm in there for half an hour every Summer, but hey….

our house used to be freezing until we put in an electric aga, run on economy 7. You could call in to the aga shop to check out different options as they are really helpful and don't seem to mind going through it all. Only draw back is it can be too warm in summer months as you say.

Aga all the way. If you are in an old house chances are the kitchen might be cool in summer - unless you have lots of windows? I only have room for a 2 oven one and would love to have a 4 oven. I think you should go for a traditional, original aga which stays on all the time particularly as you want it to keep the kitchen warm. They also cook wonderfully. I can't imagine the more modern versions cook in the same way. If you have room you can also have another modern oven and hot plate to use in summer. As I love mine so much I use it all year round - just have all doors and windows open when it is hot!!
