Hi does anyone know of a dishrack that is a good size, won't rust and if possible is dishwasher safe?

Look for one made from stainless steel, the chrome ones rust.

Are plastic ones out of the question? I don't use one, so don't know much about them.

The plastic ones go slimy on the bottoms and very awkward to clean IMO - unless you have a dishwasher.

I got mine from sainsburys and its got limescale rather than rust but still serviceable - definitely stainless steel rather than plated.

Been looking for a while and want one that can stick in a dishwasher too!

I have matching plastic dishwasher bowl and drainer - either from Homebase or Sainsbury's (they are next door so I tend to go in both when looking for this type of thing). They both dishwash beautifully - gets rid of slime and that orangey curry/pasta sauce colour if you chuck them in on the same date as the stain appears (bottom rack or dishwasher)

Simple human ones are good.

I have this josephjoseph one. I bought it in TK Maxx, though, so it wasn't expensive. It's very good - I was surprised by how much I could stack on it and also how well it grips even large baking trays etc.

We have a Delfinware one, it was quite expensive but it still looks brand new a few years later. We were without a dishwasher for a while so I went all out on a fairly large one.

We have an IKEA one - it has two tiers and is stainless steel.
