But I don't want to grow up.... sulks away slamming doors, whilst stamping feet...

LadyTophamHatt · 02/11/2006 12:29

I'm actually really looking forward to having a tumble dryer.
We have awasher/dryer ATM and the novely of having the washer and dryer going atthe same time will be too much for me I'm sure.

Dh want a dish washer but tumble dryer comes first.

(and heres anpth mad thing from the world of LTH to go with the offloading thread...I actually like washing up)

LadyTophamHatt · 02/11/2006 12:30

Cod, my Dh physically cringes when I mention shopping.

He would rather stick pins in his eyes than go shopping.

NomDePlume · 02/11/2006 12:31

mine too.

LadyTophamHatt · 02/11/2006 12:33

Whereas I could walk around the shops aimlessly for hours....

guyfawkesHEIFERgy · 02/11/2006 12:33

And mine, Could you imagine being married to a bloke that actually likes shopping...

Not a REAL man in my eyes...

Mine you, not that I want a footie mad, lager drinking, hairy, swearing BLOKE either....

Anyway back to Hoovers, do you have any idea of which one you actually want cod?

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 02/11/2006 12:33

sorry for hijack but this has been keeping me awake: are you actually an older irish man, MD of a company in Reading?
cause I have just realised that dh's boss types exactly like you
coincidence?
I think not.....

FireFaerie · 02/11/2006 12:33

looks like il have to go easy on him a bit then.. i dont ever mind what i get, just so long as some thought went into it.. thats the only importance for me.. no cash needed.. 'i saw this stone on the beach shaped like a heart, just had to give it to you' will do.. keep me smiling for months, no $$$ needed

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 02/11/2006 12:34

FawkesyFimbo · 02/11/2006 12:36

My dh will "shop" very very occasionally on a Sunday (because he reckons it is quieter) but invariable ends up taking ds off somewhere after about 5 minutes....
