Would anyone care to share the list of what their cleaner does for them as I really need to get mine to toe the line

Today my cleaner has only done the jobs she likes (ie made the beds, done a bit of ironing and rearranged things that didn't need rearranging) but failed to clean the loos or wash the floors so I am going to make a list which I'll go through with her so she knows what's expected and see if things improve (if they don't then I'll have a wonderful list ready for a new cleaner!).

Mine is £6 an hour and is not bad.
She does 3 hours a week for a 3 bed semi and she
hoovers all carpets
cleans bathroom and loo, washes floors
washes hall floor (wooden)
tidies dd's room if I haven't had time to
remakes all the beds, changes them if I leave clean set out
cleans kitchen, hob, microwave, table, tops, mops floor
dusts a bit as needed
she also tidies for us as she goes if needed, and washes up any dishes left out (rarely as I try to tidy for her)
once in a while I swap things around so she doe the cooker, fridge and leaves out the dining/spare room.
I couldn't do with paying her to choose what she liked doing!

I never realised how affordable they are i mean it's only a few hours max to do a reasonable (size and state)house.VERY Tempted!

Our cleaners is ok but not very thorough, i.e. she leaves the rings round the taps undone and her idea of toilet cleaning is to squeeze some toilet duck in and leave it.

We are unlikely to change her because a) she is generally reliable b) I have made the mistake of being in when she comes whilst I am on maternity leave and it would be like sacking a friend and c) she loves Rookiebaby infinitely and knits items for him oh and d)however bad she is it beats doing the stuff myself.

Mrs Fogi if you haven't made the mistake of befriending her and she isn't doing what you want her to do, then get another cleaner. Personally I would go through an agency, its more expensive but if any axing needs to be done, then they are the ones to do it.

I have 2 ladies who come in together for one hour a week. I have both bathrooms and my kitchen thoroughly cleaned. They hoover the bedrooms, stairs and landing and mop the hard floors. I do the rest myself. It costs 29.90 per week for both.

Mine is £24 for 4 hours and does the following

Every week
Cleans two bathrooms puts out fresh towels ( including all glass doors and mirrors)
Hoovers two floors of the house ( two staircases) all rooms
Dusts two reception rooms
And usually 4 bedrooms ( two one week and two the other)
Mops all hard floors
Cleans kitchen work tops (alternate weeks wipes down all cupboards)
Extra things; usually has 1hour to spare ? cleans some windows and glass on internal doors.
She has also done some ironing for me. Plus there is no chance of ever befriending my cleaner, as she really winds me up, I avoid her as much as possible. She is such a gossip, and very nosey, and yesterday she started asking me what I do with my time as only work Part-time and I can?t believe I actually started telling her what I do e.g; Do my own job, then help with DH?s business and look after two children that are at home when I?m not working, and hardly sit down before 9.00pm?. then I asked her if she's finished ( in other words clear off) and she THEN says there is no point starting another job for 10minutes so leaves 15mins early. So I have left a note for next week with list at the bottom I have highlighted 'BTW you owe me 15mins' since cleaner does not hesitate to charge me for extra 15mins.

Her saving grace is that generally she is very good, but she has tried to fob me off in the past.
