Just that - I have a shiny new induction hob & need a cleaner to help keep it that way.

Bar keepers Friend with a cellulose sponge. Wipe off with water then ecloth.
Don't use kitchen roll as it will scratch.

I just use hot soapy water and buff it up with a soft microfibre cloth.

Thank you both. Microfibre & hot soapy water easy; barkeepers friend as backup!

Good compromise! I may try that!!Grin

Hot soapy water normally, but occasionally use glass cleaner to make it extra sparkly

cif for burnt on stuff, but usually soapy water is enough.

How do you get burned on stuff on an Induction hob, mousmous? Not being sarky, I'm genuinely intrigued as I thought it was impossible.

We use soapy water and wipe off with an e cloth. It still looks like new (almist 2 years on).

cream cleaner (look for one suitable for ceramic surfaces)

Soapy water and a polish with the wonderful e-cloth. Get the glass ecloth. Not the ordinary ones. Job done. My induction hob is over 11 years old and looks almost like new. So easy to care for.

Very occasionally I'll use a job cream cleaner but it's hardly needed.

Also intrigued as to what mousmous is cooking that burns the hob. Does cif not scratch the surface?
