Has anyone got any recommendations for removing mould from walls? We have a condensation issue.
All of the products I've seen are £££

Many thanks Smile

We used Dettol Mould & Mildew Remover Spray, then put a dehumidifier in the room to keep it away :)

Mould & mildew remover is basically just dilute chlorine bleach so you could do that yourself - cheaper for large areas (but try not to drip or splash obv)

I'm assuming your walls are painted?

interested to know too so just popping in to be nosey

pointless until you solve the condensation issue.

then a lot of wiping and scrubbing with the dettol stuff.

We have tried all sorts to solve the condensation I think it's the type of windows in the house. They aren't vented at all. We try and air the house as much as possible but this time of year makes it very difficult.
I'll look for the mould and mildew remover as a quick fix. Thank you everyone Smile

bleach and bicarb mixed and then pasted on , then wipe off when dry . Also get a moisture abosorber even those crystal things are better than nothing.

Nothing works better than B&Q's Mould remover, it's a spray bottle, £5. Seriously good stuff. The supermarket stuff isn't nearly as effective or strong. This stuff is better than neat bleach. (I have tried nearly everything including Jeyes fluid, natural remedies, etc).

you only need to wipe the windows and then open them for five minutes, as long as it isn't actually raining.

wring out the window cloth and hang it to dry outside.
