Best brands for washing machine that aren't too expensive.

Looks like I will be better off replacing my dying washing machine so I'm looking into buying a new one. Has to be from very catalogue because that's the only way I can buy one.
So what brands are good that aren't overly expensive?

It's me and 4 dc so need a good size machine.

Whirlpool are good and reasonable prices. We have the Samsung Eco Bubble - the delivery driver said it was one of the best on the market (he was probably biased though!).
Is great though - big drum, numerous cycles, energy saving. ..

The Hotpoint you've mentioned scores reasonably well on the Which website although it's quite noisy apparently.

My mum says Beko are good but she lives in Turkey and they are a Turkish brand.
