appleblossom23 While bringing up my children, I went through several periods when I was close to losing my home (purchased to provide the younger ones with security, as an older mother.) I can empathise with your anxiety. Take the advice of OPs, and hang in there. When the stress becomes unbearable, I hope a good friend will be able to let you just unload - the Samaritons allowed me to do this, (even though I was not suicidal), it de-cluttered my mind, and helped me regain control and decide what to do next.
Nobuyuki Your OU studies have changed you, even though you didn't finish the course! You know more now, than you did when started it. (Provided you completed one or more course, or a year's study, put it on your CV if/when job-hunting!!! Every little helps.)
There is a right time to renew our studies. I had an abortive OU attempt in my mid 20s! I finally, got my first degree in a regular university at 45. After that, I had 2 further abortive post-grad courses, for various reasons, but later gained 2 pg qualifications, finally qualifying as a secondary school teacher at 58 and landing permanent post at 59.
Where there's Life, there's hope!
