Hi! Just wondering if anybody is using these at the moment and how they find them?

I do. I was a sceptic, but they surprised me and I love them!

I used them for about 8 months without issue but eventually my clothes started to feel "dirty" and I've heard others say the same, its like the general grease and grime built up overtime and I could feel it in the fabrics.

Also hated the "woody" smell that built up too.

I have had a pack of soap nuts for 7-8 years. Every so often, I use them for a wash but I cannot say I was ever truly convinced by their cleaning power.

I only use them to wash dark colour clothes because I don't think they do a good enough job on whites.

I only wash at 40C max so that might not be a high enough temperature for soap nuts.

Gatewalker, what are your top tips for using soap nuts?

I only ever washed at 40 too, wonder if that's an issue?
