So when I moved into my house 3 years ago, the cream carpets were not new, but were clean. They are now looking distinctly grubby, and high traffic areas are the worst. The carpets are from the stairs up and we operate a no outside shoes on the carpet rule. I tried the Vanish large area carpet cleaning stuff and it made absolutely no different at all.
How do you keep yours clean? Do I just need to accept that I have to pay for specialist cleaning every now and again.
