New Oven or Dishwasher? WWYD

Both are more than 15yrs old. Both work (in a fashion) but we have the money to replace one.

Dishwasher washes but you have to rinse/wipe all plates etc before you put them in
Oven is very noisy and grill part keeps falling down (but I have wedged up with a shelf) so safe and useable

Neither bring joy but we haven't the dosh for both

WWYD?

What's your budget? Could you buy ex-display models or in the sales?

Oven definitely. Our dishwasher broke about a year ago, we haven't replaced it and don't really miss it.

Budget £400ish. But I want to buy something that lasts rather than two things that don't

Oven first, but if it works fine can it be serviced/repaired? I think dishwashers are worth every penny and would miss ours, but an oven is more important.

Oven. Though it's usable at the moment, it could go kaput at any time. You can always hand wash dishes(much as it can be a pain)if the dishwasher totally breaks, but it's not easy to find a substitute for an oven/grill.

get a new cooker.

If you are strong and have a hatchback, you can get a used dwr off ebay if you need to. They are so heavy that there is next to no market for used ones, and have to be very local, so they are very cheap. Mine last one went for nothing on freegle, the collector brought his dad to help carry it. Hiring a Man with Van would push up the cost.

It must be a good make, I only buy Bosch or Siemens.
