Ironing bed linen?

A couple of weeks ago we realised our bed linen was as old as our marriage (13 yrs)
So we chose new duvet and bed linen. However, our old ben linen was cheapo polycotton, and looked fine straight on.

This new stuff - not el cheapo - does not. It came out of the tumble drier very crumpled and wrinkly, so I had to iron it.
It took me over an hour to iron just the (kingsize) duvet cover and sheet, plus two pillowcases
Now I'm exhausted.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

I never used to but dh always complained that he wanted sheets like they were in the shops..! Told him if thats the case iron them yourself..!

Well I hate ironing so we pay for someone to collect it and return it ironed. So now she does the sheets..! . Must admit it is nice getting into fresh and ironed sheets..!!!

OK all those who iron bedlinen (or have it ironed), are you the same ones who change their beds every week? How do you find the time to do both?

yes I change the sheets every week without fair BUT this is because its part of my cleaning routine which happens every thursday.

As I said before the only thing I don't do is ironing. DH works and i'm a sahm so I suppose I have time during dd's play/nap times. Although I must admit it can take me a whole day and sometime into the next day to clean the home top to bottom..Sorry but I have to have a clean home at least once a week .

It's not the changing of the bed linen I have a problem doing - it's getting it washed and dried...
