Keeping new oven clean

Having a new kitchen put in but how do I keep on top of keeping the inside oven glass door clean so it doesn't have burnt on stains like my one in the skip?

Wipe the inside of the door with a cloth soaked in hot, soapy water after every use, but when the oven is still warm. In reality you probably won't remember to do that though!

When I clean our oven I use a Stanley knife blade in a plastic holder (from B & Q - sold for scraping paint off window glass after decorating) on the internal door glass. Works a treat.

Lake land oven liner. A thousand times easier to clean. Also do get a pro clean once a year. It will make you love your oven.

I second lakeland oven liner (cut it to size yourself) and a yearly pro-clean (I used OvenU). I'm using Lakeland daily oven cleaner (spray bottle) for the 'in-between' oven cleans. Gives a good once over and looks sparkly.

Yes oven liners are a good idea, however the OP specifically asked about keeping the inside of the door clean. Unless I'm very much mistaken, no oven liner will do that!

Yes it's the inside of the glass door I am interested in and it will be eye level too. I suppose I could revert to hanging a tea towel outside on the rail...Grin

Doesn't the blade scratch the glass wowfudge?

Hi - never had a problem with scratching, it's to do with the angle it's at in one of these. I only use this when normal cleaning and scrubbing have failed, then I wonder why I didn't just do this from the start.
