HI i'm dreamcatcher, 36, north herts,dp,dd15,dd23 rising 40. My house isn't too bad but really need routines .
Been a fly baby for 4 days.Haven't actually done anything about it apart from reading these threads!!!!
Cori- are we living with the same man?

dreamcatcher · 19/09/2006 22:25

Sorry.... thats dd1, 5yo and dd2, 3yo...i don't have 15 dds!!

dreamcatcher · 19/09/2006 22:27

or 23 of them either. Don't worry guys I'm quite happy burbling to myself here.

crazydazy · 20/09/2006 10:41

I get you dreamcatcher....I do honest

RanToTheHills · 22/09/2006 14:06

so shall I be yet another one with a shiny sink (but sod all else?) Not done it yet but it's on its way. I'm RTTH - finally live in the countryside, well as good as after many, many yrs of city life grin]. Have a kids, 1 still a baby.
Makes me v happy but they are lots more creatures here to clean up - daddy long legs, tons of spiders, all crawling up the walls, hiding in the crevices between the stones.
I shall go and do my sink now.

RanToTheHills · 22/09/2006 14:06

oh and i have no shoes with laces, does thatmean i have to do sth else or do i get a day off?!

shazronnieWEARINGSHOES · 22/09/2006 14:18

RTTH - you can wear any shoes, or none at all like most of the others! FL says lace ups because they can't be easily taken off.

RanToTheHills · 22/09/2006 14:22

i know, sorry i was joking, not hilarious, I know.

JessaJam · 22/09/2006 14:25

ranToTheHills - here is current FLY thread...bit long...we are thinking of having a daily one instead of weekly...FLYing (shoes optional!)

shazronnieWEARINGSHOES · 22/09/2006 17:36

sorry rtth; but everyone asks about the shoes!

fullmoonfiend · 22/09/2006 17:44

I'm FMF, 36, live in Yorks. I can't do flylady, have tried and tried, but I do do the sink thing now and I do timed cleaning bursts. And every time I read one of your threads, I get the urge to go and tidy a little more, so thank you My house will never be company-ready, but I always have cake for visitors, which hopefully detracts from the state of the hovel

RanToTheHills · 22/09/2006 18:08

fmf - you're like me, happy to provide cake but location not great. i have a clean sink! but that's it!

fullmoonfiend · 22/09/2006 19:11

ah but you live in the country so you automatically have a great location! Besides, if anyone starts looking too closely, you can always distract with ''Goodness, is that a wild Elk?'' out of the window, while you steer them into your (tidier) room or something

RanToTheHills · 23/09/2006 09:54

meant state of house, not location around, IFYKWIM - Yorks is lovley!

Skribble · 24/09/2006 21:46

Rantothehills are you going to join us on the daily fly threads we are doing now?

Piffle · 26/09/2006 13:24

I'm about to fly
spend a large amount of time on housework but house never looks nice enough.
Declutter abounds, ESP ds 12 room
new baby on the way next year so need a routine for this place or it will descend into a pit
I'm going to do a room a day declutter for the next week plus morning and before beds and the shiny sink.
Then fly with all the other daily flyers.

pippah · 24/10/2006 12:08

Hello! I am Pippa, age 31, have one DS aged 18 months and curently expecting my second - due in 5 weeks time. I live in London with my DH (32), but we are hoping to move back to Hampshire next year as I am so not a city girl. Have just finished work (was working PT, 3 days per week) and am planning on staying at home with my babies for a year (and am working on a plan B to be able to stay off longer!!!)

I am not a natural born Anthea Turner and so am trying to FLY so I can get a bit done each day. I am proud of myself so far as the house looks a lot nicer. My hubby has noticed too! I like seeing my shiny sinks, it makes me smile! Is that not really sad?

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/10/2006 12:13

DH is in Army and grumpy

I hate FLYLADY but it needs to be done!

House is SO much better since starting and cant let it go back to the way it was.
