Hi, family of 3 and thinking of moving house from north London to St Albans but do not know where which areas to look at. we've viewed couple of houses in park st commute seems all right, house were nice but not too sure about the area ( few similar in Bricket wood). Also looked at Jeresy farm and Wheathampstead, a bit pricier but not too sure about traffic and commute.
I'll be driving to London and my DH will be taking train to London.
I would appreciate any advice re location, location, location!

lovely area but the traffic is a nightmare. Are you serious about driving into London??

also how would the train trip work from Park Street? Your husband could drive down to Radlett and get the train in from there - check station car park prices and the eyewatering fare, but it is a fast journey.

thanks specialsubject. after the weekend we're more thinking about Park street and Bricket wood which both have reasonable travel journey to London however it scares me so much that one state agent calls Bricket wood "SOULLESS" and the other says avoid Park street! we drove around quite a while in the area, nothing significant apart from one part of park street that wasn't very nice but still not a council state. bricket wood mostly very leafy. nobody is willing to give a good insight. getting desperate for some honest opinion.
