suncream has left yellow stains on white clothes ...

What's the best way to shift them please?

Ohhhh, somebody will remember better than me but there is definitely an answer to this. I do recall sunshine being involved.

I would rub washing up liquid in, handwash, and hang on the line.

It's either rub in lemon juice or salt and leave in the sun for a few hours before washing.

Nothing I have tried has worked. Watching with interest.

I use lemon juice and salt then hang in the sun. Nearly threw out lots of clothes after our summer holiday last year and read that on here. Now have lots of white clothes again. I just used bottled lemon juice and loads of salt.

Really interested in the answer to this too.

ToAvoidConversation did you do the lemon juice and salt trick then hang on line or lemon and salt then wash in machine and hang on line? Just over thinking this a bit as would need to wash clothes anyway not just for suncream marks but for dirt too or do you wash after you lemon and salt it and dry on line.

have the wrong kind of sun above my back garden...?

Loads of lemon and salt then hang on the line in the sun to dry.

Supposedly the orange mark you get when you wash suncream is rust so it removes that. So I washed the clothes, then lemon and salt and then put through the wash again.
