Surcare - doesn't actually seem to be getting the clothes clean?

Two weeks ago ds had a huge skin reaction to the washing powder ( Bold) so after reading a thread on here I bought a bottle of surcare and rewashed all his clothes. His skin has settled down fine now.
But when I take his stuff out of the machine things like his jeans don't seem to be coming clean. Everything looks a bit dull. Is this normal and any tips?

Some of his muddy clothes I am tempted to wash first with the normal powder and then re wash in surcare in order to get the mud and stains out.

Try soda crystals as well mixed in with surcare.

Thanks - will try that!

I think it's normal.

You could also try hot soaking in bio, then machine wash with surcare. If you use a prewash, that might help rinse out the bio. Some risk of it not rinsing well enough I guess so I'd use a different Bio for the soaking, but would save the extra wash.

Marks and Spencer do a sensitive range of laundry detergent, which has no scent like Surcare - it may be better.

Also another bonus (from my point of view) is that it's not tested on animals, where I am not sure if Surcare is.

I could only find only find this link online about it.
