Does anyone know if it's possible to get a sofa bed base redone, with new springs & base? And maybe a thicker, firmer mattress?
I have a nice sofa bed that I knackered about 4 years ago by sleeping in it for 4 months while waiting on a new bed. The 'base' is stretched out a bit too much and the springs not as tight as they once were do it's really uncomfortable to lie on. I'd love to get it re-done and get a better mattress but I've never seen any company/advert that does this. The sofa is too nice/good to replace for a better sofa bed altogether but the sofa bed is just not useable.
I'll be needing to use it once a week from May onwards while my mum stays over and sleeps in my bed, hence this being something I'm looking to get done, if it's possible.
