How do you get Sharpie ink off a wood table?

Just that really. Blue sharpie on a varnished wood table. We've tried WD40 but it didn't touch it.
DSD decided blue sharpie was the best thing to use to draw in her new book Shock

I usually try a baby wipe first (god knows what's in those, but they are amazing!)

Failing that, an 'it works' cube gets anything out of anything!

If everything you try fails, you could use sandpaper to get rid of the stain.

I would try using nail varnish remover but only as a last resort as it might take the varnish off with it

I had this problem and one of those "magic erasers" sorted it out. Go easy though, you don't want to take the varnish off.

Cheers ladies. I have a magic cube thingy. I'll try that. Smile
