Right then! House about to go on the market, have two DSs, I am a horder who hasn't got back to pre-pregnancy size yet (so have two lots of clothes sizes on the go) and I really need to de-clutter so am after your best storage solutions (as I've said, I'm a horder, so can't chuck too much, but the garage is empty and waiting!!).
What can I store clothes in? Hate vacuum packs as none I've bought ever work; have used containers but the clothes just smell. What else is there?
What's the optimal jewellery storage 'solution'? (have to put it in quotes to make it less Private Eye prone!)
And is there such a thing as air-free/proof storage boxes?

Hi there. House has now been on the market for 4 weeks and I also have 2 DS's so I feel your pain. The best thing I did was to pack as if we were moving already so used the opportunity to sort out toys and throw/give away old ones, collect together pieces etc and then boxed them up, labelled them and put into storage (not fortunate to have a garage). The best advice I got was to clear every room except DS's of toys and the house already looks amazing. Also tried to clear every surface and size-ordered all books on bookshelves - makes a huge difference. Have used large plastic boxes with lids for clothes, made sure clothes were washed before I put them in but have no idea whether they won't smell. Good luck.
