Am I alone in feeling most of the time I would feel uncomfortable letting an unexpected visitor in to my house? It's not filthy but there is stuff everywhere and we just don't have enough room to keep it very tidy.
With two young demanding dc's and working part time I don't get to hoover as often as seems it needs doing and I have a physical condition which means I find cleaning floors very difficult and so dh usually does these, but not as often as I'd like!
Everytime I go in the downstairs toilet the seat is up and there are splashes where little boys have missed the bowl and the towel is inevitably always screwed up on the floor.
My dd is starting to make friends at school and I want to be able to open the door to her friends and their mums at any time instead of planning visits a week in advance so I can clean up!
If your house is always visitor ready, please can you tell me how you manage it?
