Which steam cleaner for £100 or less?

Sorry I know there have been many threads about this but I'm still wavering between Polti Comfort and Karcher models (Pifco and Morphy Richards also background contenders).
The chosen model's work will involve tiled floors and walls, glass shower screens, wooden floors and general kitchen and bathroom duties. Please help me spend my money.
TIA

I have been paid a bonus by work.

I've spent it on an H2O X5. I'll test it out after my current headache clears.

Hmm, I'm not sure about the Morphy Richards. The cord is a bit short so I need to buy an extension lead but I managed to do my bathroom floor tiles. They look clean but there wasn't as much steam as I thought there would be - it only really produced steam when the steam button was pushed down. I haven't had a steam cleaner before so not sure if that's what's meant to happen. It also makes a constant clicking sound when the steam button is pushed - for the others who have this model, does that sound right? The handheld unit did nothing to the bit of black staining round the edge of my bath, either. It hardly seemed to use up any water, there was loads left in the tank when I'd done.

Does this all sound right or do I have a duff one?

I need guidance - I bought an x5 and am a bit meh about it - am I doing it wrong? Can't get away with the window thingy and, although my (crappy, here when we moved in) white gas hob looks good after I've steamed it the x5 didnt touch the marks on the actual gas ring bits.

I've been quite impressed by the bits of kitchen and bathroom I've done. I might do the carpet tomorrow if I need a displacement activity from the studying I'm meant to be doing.

Ebear. On your gas ring. How do you use it?

My hob is polished stainless steel. I blast it with the high pressure steam and then wipe off any excess water with an ecloth. Where I have baked on grime I hold the x5 over it and blast it for longer.

My windows are leaded windows so I can't use an ordinary squeegee thing obv. So again I blast it with the high pressure and wipe with an ecloth.

On shower screens and mirrors I use the squeegee attachment thingy it came with and it works really great for me.

The best for me is the duster attachment. Omg. I am in love with it. Reason is that I have a massive lounge with wood panelling. Ornately carved panelling which is ordinarily a mare to keep clean but the x5 contraption has made it so easy. I can now keep it all dust free and clean it every week and it takes no time compared to what it used to.

And the duster thing for skirting boards. Ace. So quick and hardly any bending. And window ledges. Due to the leaded windows not being very good, we get lots of debris on window ledges and the duster thing is so quick for that.

Also cleaning loo seats with the steam blaster. Fab.

Can't say I've found anything disappointing. It work well.

Only one thing which would have been better is the carry strap and the fact that you need to hold it with one hand to stop the heavier end slipping down and the water in the tank tilting the wrong way, away from the hose/pump thing. A small but annoying point.

I've tried it in the kitchen and bathroom - I haven't totally springcleaned :-)

So I can't tell you about the gas rings (the hob isn't that grimy anyway, as I do keep it clean for basic hygiene anyway), but I can tell you that the extractor hood hasn't looked so shiny for a long time. The skirting boards are much cleaner than they have been for ages, too.

Haven't noticed a problem with the angle. I did notice the heating element is on a wire, so it can be in the water, whichever angle you're at.

Bit disturbed by the colour the cloth bit turned after I tried it on the carpet. Grin

But it's a lot easier than getting out the bucket and mop to clean the kitchen floor. Which means I have actually cleaned the kitchen floor for once.
