I always buy shite ones that look nice or have some snazzy gadget going on. And they never last.

Hence need a new one.

Another vote for Henry - I had about 4 vacuums in 4 years before buying this one & it's great. Good for stairs etc. We have the Harry version (comes with attachments for pet hair)
