Help! Anybody washed an Ikea armchair cover that says dry clean only?

It's \link{http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30105618/#/80168769\this one} - the first 4 covers are all 100% cotton & washable, but the last 3 are mixed fibres (this one is 50% viscose/rayon, 30% linen, 20% polyester) & it says they aren't

I know viscose shrinks, but then so does cotton...

GoodnessIsThatTheTime - just to let you know that despite the stiffness when wet, the cover was as soft as before when dry, & has gone back on the chair with no trouble

Ooh that's reassuring. I think mine's a slightly different material to yours but maybe I could try singer cushions rather than all at once. It would be a very expensive mistake!!

So washed at 30 (with non bio) then hung over banisters...

Hi i am looking at the svanby grey fabric fir Ektorp which says dry clean only. I was just wondering if anybody has this particular fabric and machine washes it?

I'm considering buying a svanby cover ... Did anyone try it??
