How to clean greasy kitchen cabinets and tiles

Just moved into a new house today and the kitchen is an at least 10 years old beech Ikea one. Its pretty greasy and grimy both on the front of the cabinets, inside, on the tiles and underneath the wall units. We can't afford to replace the kitchen for a few years so need to give it a good and proper clean. Any suggestions on what products/potions to use? Thanks

Sugar soap I love for REALLY sticky grimey stuff..

But first try a mix of washing up liquid and hot water, or a mix of soda crystals and hot water.

Sugar soap, one part to ten parts warm water. Just been where you are, except this kitchen hadn't seen acton on the top of the cupboards for at the very least 15 years, thick black grease deposits. I also used a steamer. And Flash bleach spray, although this is not recommended. Sugar soap solution applied with sponge scourer, steamed, flash bleach, steamed, repeat ad infinitum, clear warm water wipe down. My kitchen is fucking clean now though. Good luck!

Probably not the right thing to do but i just spray oven cleaner on and wipe off after a couple of minutes. Make sure room is ventilated and wear gloves.

The dettol spray in the bright green bottle is amazing for this - spray on, leave for 2 mins, wipe off with kitchen roll, job done with no scrubbing.

liquid soda crystals is great - got mine in home bargains. I used it with a microfibre cloth on greasy cupboards. For the tops of the cupboards I used cif cream cleaner and a scouring sponge and then finished off with the liquid soda crystals and microfibre cloth.

I've had success with hot water and washing up liquid.

put on the surface, leave for a bit and then scrub down (we used a washing up brush for that)

I find biological washing powder works well.

Aldi's pink grapefruit cleaner works incredibly well on grease & is not really messy to use - I spray it on, scrub with a kitchen brush (to get into grout, crevices etc) & wipe off with wet microfibre cloth. It's only about 80p a bottle.

Try removing it from cabinets with extremely hot water. You can use washing powder too.
