I love my £250 Beko one! Amazing.

Mine is a Bosch one with sensor and I love it. Never really timed it but it's pretty quick and I can usually get 2 loads done before having to empty the tank (which whilst a faff, is dead easy to do). Not v noisy except I have those JML dryer balls so they clunk around in it. I tend to clean the fluff out every 2nd or so dry ad again, dead easy. And it can go anywhere and doesn't require a plumber. What's not to like?!

I love mine. It's a zanussi and takes 8kg. Also I use the water in the tank for my iron and now I don't have limescale build up in it.

I have a washer /dryerand the dryer is a condenser,does that count?

Anyway, like many others, I love mine too. Couldnt live without it this current weather. I do towels and sheets manly ( not polyester or similar nylon quick dry type clothing)

Dries everything . Has three dry levels, iron, dry and cupboard dry. I havent found it leaves anything creased.

Yes! Love it! I have a bosch. Just remember to spin your washing at as high a rpm as you can, so it goes into the dryer as 'dry' as possible and save yourself a bit of energy.

GandalfsOtherHat · 01/02/2014 18:15

Ps i find thing are creased if I overload the dryer, so it has less space to 'move around' iykwim

Mine seems to have magical powers, I run a cycle, open it put my hand in pull the washing out and it feels hot and wet then I shake it and it is dry.

I don't know anyone else who has one so not sure if they all do that or whether mine really is magic.

GandalfsOtherHat · 01/02/2014 18:18

Also, i put bedding in for only 15 mins or so until its hot, then take it out and hang over bannister/doors, the water left in it evaporates very quickly, usually dry as soon as the bedding has cooled down (but don't bunch it, has to be single layer or as close as you can). So dry bedding that way quite quickly, quicker than the dryer anyway! I'll stop now...

I have a hotpoint ultima which does very nicely - we hang clothes up to get 75% of the way to dry and then tumble for 20mins/half a hour to finish off. Never had any problems in 6 years of ownership. We finally got it after several years of frustration with washer-dryers where the dryer function kept breaking down and becoming non-functional and it's bliss.

Hootloop is yours a Siemens, because mine does the same magic Smile

It does tend to leak though and in three years has had a new drum, new condenser, new pipe going to the tank and a new door handle. Luckily it came with a five year guarantee.

Really like mine - it's a Bosch. No problems.
