Cheapest kitchen?

Am thinking it would be the Ikea free standing one? Want a very basic kitchen that's easy to clean.
My kitchen is very tired, the plumbing under the sink is dodgy.
The dishwasher fell apart this morning.
Am fed up with it all.

Oh no, feel for you.

Ikea generally has a good reputation I think, or you could look for something ex display?
Unless you can do the installation yourself though, check out the extra cost of installation.

We recently bought a small kitchen which was all pre constructed as opposed to flat packed. It cost a bit more but is very solid and so likely to last longer. It also cost less to install.

I really like the varde freestanding units, but this would mean new flooring, new tiles and probably re skimming!
Wonder if I can convince dh....:)

We got an ikea one last year and it's fab. Plus even with the fitting, tiles and floor, it was still half the price of anywhere else we looked!

He is - tentatively - agreeing! :)

I bought an ikea one for my last house, not freestanding, was great kitchen. I employed local builder to install it and he was useless, think kitchen fitting successfully requires someone to just get on and get it done, my mother had mfi ki tchen many years back, around 4x the size of mine fitted in two days!! Ikea v good value for money.

Yes I really like the ikea one.
A good fitter makes all he difference - albeit if we went for the FS one we wouldn't need a fitter :)
