Help!! Dog urine smell not shifting!

A relative was staying over Christmas with their do who has had a couple of accidents in the kitchen which were mopped up and disinfected at the time.

However doing a deep clean today and I have popped off the skirting boards to clean under the sides properly were the liquid has seeped and it stinks!

I have mopped twice with disinfectant, I have sprayed surface cleaner and left the window open to air the room while it dries - it still sinks!!!

I think it may be because the tiles finish so some of the urine is likely to have gone on the concrete flooring under the tiles :(

Have you tried putting down bicarbonate of soda? It's a great odour neutraliser.

Thanks! Do I need to mix with water or just throw it on the floor?

Chuck it on the floor, leave for an hour (or overnight if it really is awful) and then vacuum it up. It might take two goes to really work.

I use an enzyme based pet spray for all urine smells, cat and human and it works well as long as you drench the area. Allow it to dry naturally and the slower the better, no need to rinse, the smell will remain for a few days but then it disappears leaving a nice fresh smell. However, I have needed to repeat the spray a few times to get results, if say, potty training DS did a wee on his bedroom floor and DH just tried to wipe it up with a baby wipe, and not tell me until the next day! You can get the spray from pets at home for £7.
