Do you think gingham curtains and polka dot would blend?

Sounds bit odd but I need large quantities of curtains for bay window, patio window and conservatory windows. The Range have some cheap nice duck egg blue/cream gingham ones but they dont do them in long drops, they do however do a polka dot in exactly the same colour.
Its for a kitchen/breakfast/sitting room that we use all the time.
Think Bay widow in spot would be fine as seperate but he french doors are in the middle of the conservatory window run.
Any other ideas that wouldnt be too epensive welcome.
Have sewing machne but the thought of measuring and cutting big bits of fabric defeats me!

I think it would look fine. They're both fairly simple classic patterns, with a homely style. :)

I'm assuming your room is massive given the number of windows! :)

Yes I think it could look more interesting if you mix and match the patterns provided the colours work together

Yes. I have a mixture of gingham, polka dots and stars in DS's room and it looks lovely. As long as the colours go together it'll be fine.

or this kind of effect

Thanks all , that bunting looks great
Suddengeekgirl, it was a kitchen, small sitting room and a conservatory and we have just smushed it all together to make one big room hence lots of window area . It works really well and we live in it really but never got round to putting curtain in kitchen or bay window and trying to reduce heating costs! We did the building work about 6 yrs ago oops Smile
